We spent St. Patrick's Day at Grandma and Grandpa P's this year. We had green pancakes and green eggs for breakfast. Then, we went to the shortest parade I've ever seen. There was a "leprechaun" driving a tractor...
a few local bars had floats (this one is MacBear's - kids promoting a bar???)...
and the Sioux City roller derby team skated by. That was the extent of the parade. The kids had fun and Mark made out with TONS of candy, beads, and a hat. Then, we had the usual corned beef & cabbage dinner with some Irish potato soup. For the second year in a row, I've discovered that I don't really like corned beef, but would it really be St. Patrick's Day without it?? All in all, it was a fun day.
